Different traffic sources bring different traffic quality and ROI for both affiliates and advertisers, especially in lead generation verticals such as Cash On Delivery (COD), Finance, Sweepstakes, Insurance, Dating, Health leadgen, Home Services, etc. With this feature, you can set different payouts for affiliates based on the traffic source they use and incentivise them to send more traffic from sources that perform better for your offers, such as Facebook, Instagram, Google, and YouTub
0The Referrer Tracking feature is a specialized tool designed for compliance and traffic optimization. It allows you to inspect affiliate landing pages to ensure all content—such as images, design, and copywriting—remains compliant with your network’s terms and conditions.
Yes. By identifying whether traffic originates from platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or Google, you can use our custom payout type to offer different rates for each major traffic source.
This means that your affiliate didn't place the fingerprint script on their landing pages; please check the Fingerprint reports page in the Anti-fraud section of your platform.
If you have affiliates buying traffic from sources such as Taboola, MGID, or other third-party networks, the full referrer (the exact website where the traffic originates) often cannot be read because of how the Referrer-Policy works.
However, in most cases you will still be able to see the domain the traffic is coming from, such as: taboola.com, mgid.com, etc.
You can also ask affiliates to send the referrer through a URL parameter; however, this value cannot be considered fully trustworthy, as affiliates can send any URL they choose.
For more platform-specific situations, you can open a support ticket to discuss the case with our technical team and explore possible solutions.
Yes, you can, but in this case, those TrafficManager clients must also have the Referrer Tracking feature activated on their platform and require affiliates to send fingerprint data.
